2023 Global Elite Sports Conference
RDK Sports International is proud to host the 2023 Global Elite Sports Conference taking place on Thursday, the 29th of June at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, with the valued support of the City of Gold Coast. This exclusive event will feature renowned speakers from top sports leagues worldwide, including Dr. Stephanie Lovingood, Director of Activation for the Phoenix Suns (NBA), Josh Marriner, Director of Player Engagement for the Arizona Cardinals (NFL), Hannah Huesman, Mental Performance Coordinator for the Texas Rangers (MLB), Shaquin Albrow, Senior Manager of Team Services and Player Development for the Chicago Bulls (NBA), and Will Bryce, Head of Football Development for NFL International, who will deliver live presentations exclusively to conference delegates. Joining these international speakers on stage will be leading Australian & New Zealand sports administrators and professionals from organisations such as the Sydney Kings, Gold Coast Titans, Gold Coast Suns, Australian Paralympic Team, New Zealand Silver Ferns, Tennis Australia and more.
The conference will run from 9:00am to 3:30pm with breaks for morning tea and lunch in between sessions. After the conference concludes, participants who purchase the VIP package will stay from 4:00pm to 6:00pm for additional networking time with speakers in a smaller setting. Throughout both the conference and VIP event, attendees will have the opportunity to interact and socialize with our diverse range of speakers and athletes. The lineup of speakers represents various sectors within the sports industry, encompassing allied health & sports science, sport business, player engagement, and coaching. Founded by RDK Sports International and Harriet Brown in 2019, the Global Elite Sports Conference, formerly known as the Gold Coast Elite Sports Conference, has evolved onto an international scale. This year, the conference will exclusively take place in-person, without any online streaming options available during or after the event. The decision to adopt an all in-person format fosters an environment highly conducive to collaboration and innovation, not only within the sport industry, but also for companies seeking to venture into the sports sector for the first time.
